5 Self-Care Tips for a Better Life

Have you ever picked up a book, started reading it and then realised it was the right book for you at that time?

It happened to me recently. I was feeling a bit sad or disappointed that my start-up wasn’t picking up as fast as I wanted it to be. And of course – I had high expectations for my progress.

I’ve purchased the book “The Three Questions: How to Discover and Master the Power Within You” (written by  Don Miguel Ruiz and Barbara Emrys) about four months ago. And yet, only last week I’ve started reading it. For some reason, I felt compelled to start it now. (more…)

How to make your life easier

As a shy kid, I had to overcome all of my internal struggles, from speaking up my opinions to going alone to different places. It wasn’t the easiest thing to do.
For some reason, I’ve expected things to be easy. I’ve learnt now that that’s not the case with life in general.

How come we have these expectations of life?

Is it good marketing that is selling us on this expectation? Maybe.

But what would’ve helped me, even more, would’ve been honest people sharing their stories, their real stories, without the fluff and their added details (just to make the story more appealing). (more…)

It Starts with ONE Decision

Have you ever felt that knowing inside you, that sense of total certainty that there is a path for you, that you are called to do so much more, but you couldn’t articulate it, you couldn’t put your finger on it, but you knew it’s deep down in your soul, in your heart and in your bones?

If yes, I’m assuming that you took one of these routes:
– you either got bold and courageous and took some serious action to discover what it is
– or you just played it safe, thinking that maybe it will come to you some day, if ever..

Every event is temporary. It’s here now, present for a while and then it fades away. This moment is unique. In the entire Universe there will be no other like it. Similar, perhaps, but not identical.

And yet,  we discard these moments. We don’t notice them because of the busyness or of the pain, of the overwhelm or of the fear that gets in the way.

coach's credo

Coaching – what coaching means to me:

You don’t need coaching, you don’t need to be fixed. I’m not in that business.

What I do is I believe in YOU, the real you, the vulnerable and authentic YOU, the one who can inspire someone to take action, the one who’s still wearing some masks, and hasn’t seen himself/ herself as how he’s/ she’s really like. I’m your mirror. I’m your supporter. I’m calling you out.

Happiness is within

coaching from the heart

Happiness is within ourselves.. it’s just that it’s covered with so many limiting beliefs, so many unnecessary desires of useless things, with so many poisonous thoughts.. and we forget that it’s already there, moment by moment, in the present, here, now. We forget that it’s here, deep down, inside.
Happiness is our purpose, but we forget that we have the non-stop access to it. It’s so covered by the noise of the society, that we search for it outside ourselves. We think that if and when we get that thing, or that job, or that car, or those clothes, we’ll find happiness. We think that the other person can make us happy, the world should make us happy.

Leader or Follower

leader

During another coaching conversation, when I was open to go deep and explore some of my stuff, I’ve realized that I’ve seen myself as a follower, not as a leader.

And in my mind it was “either/or“, not “and”. An exclusion, not an inclusion. It didn’t occur to me that I can be both, depending on the context. What that did for me was to make me give myself permission to alternate between the two roles. When I need to step up as a Leader, I am more than capable to do that, when I need to follow, the same. Huh.. I can be both.
